Diabetes Youth Services DYS is an independent nonprofit organization that provides educational and supportive services for young people living with type 1 diabetes their families schools and communities throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. Our Mission Connecting families educating communities and supporting children living with diabetes since 1984. School Support Our team of Certified Nurse Educators Endocrinology Nurses and Pediatric Nurses many of whom are living with diabetes themselves are here to ensure school staff feel confident in managing diabetes at school.
