Fundación de Mujeres en Puerto Rico Fundacion de Mujeres en Puerto Rico Somos el unico fondo para la equidad de genero en Puerto Rico Sustentamos al activismo feminista para transformar las nociones de poder y promover el bienestar de nias mujeres en toda su diversidad y personas del genero fluido. nuestro trabajo Las mujeres son las primeras en la linea de defensa de las luchas por la justicia social pero tambien son las que menos apoyo reciben. Nuestra mision es transformar esta situacion. Creemos que aportar a iniciativas comunitarias lideradas por mujeres tiene un efecto multiplicador para la sociedad.

📌 En Puerto Rico, los albergues de violencia de género son mucho más que refugios: funcionan como salas de emergencia para mujeres y sus hijxs que necesitan huir de situaciones de violencia. A pesar de ofrecer servicios esenciales 24/7, estos espacios enfrentan una alarmante precariedad financiera. Desde la Fundación de Mujeres en PR, compartimos en nuestro blog Voces Isleñas los desafíos y las gestiones para sostener a la Red Nacional de Albergues de Violencia de Género.

Despite providing essential services 24/7, these spaces face alarming financial instability.
