We protect wildlands and open spaces in Northern New Mexicos Galisteo Basin watershed. Since 2003 Commonweal Conservancy has protected and restored thousands of acres of open spaces and trails and developed environmentally responsible neighborhoods within the Galisteo Basin Preserve. Our IMPACT Since 2003 Commonweal has permanently protected more than 12000 acres ofopen space wildlife habitat and cultural resources from desecration and development. As a land steward the organization welcomes tens of thousands of visitors each year to explore play and pay homage to the wild lands and open spaces of the Galisteo Basin Preserve.
