Clarion Music Society is a multi-GRAMMY-nominated professional vocal ensemble and period-instrument orchestra based in New York City. Both the choir and the orchestra perform rarely-heard works from the 17th, 18th and early-19th centuries, together with well-known works from those periods that are not often heard on authentic instruments. The Clarion Choir has also developed a specialty in early 20th-century Russian choral repertoire, which has earned them international renown through their recordings and tours. Central to our mission is the annual educational program of master classes and lectures, Clarion Collegium Week, which we present free of charge both to students and observers from all over the country.
