(March 4-7, 1962) Today’s Readings: He answered them, “It is not for you to know the times or seasons that the Father has established by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1) Prayer Meditation- Lord, with the Ascension we enter now the time of waiting with great expectancy! You are in Heaven but the promised Spirit has yet to enter hearts! Many of us Lord wait with expectation- we may be waiting to hear about a doctor’s report, waiting to hear about a job or promotion, waiting for a new baby, waiting for a loved one to pass. It is not up to us to know the time or seasons . But we have been promised power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us! We have that power living in us! Lord as we spend the next ten days waiting for Pentecost let us gather with Our Mother, the Mother of the Church in the upper room in fervent and devout prayer!
