We are looking for volunteers to train for our upcoming spring and summer season! At Victoria Mansion, volunteers are at the core of everything we do - docents interpret the Mansion to visitors during regular tours, conduct research, assist with events, act in special productions, plant flowers in the spring and decorate for the holidays, mentor and support new docents and guides, and so much more. We host seasonal appreciation events and off-season professional development opportunities for our docents throughout the year. Thank you to our volunteers for all that you do here at Victoria Mansion! If you would like to learn more about volunteering at Victoria Mansion, reach out to Staci Hanscom, Director of Education & Public Programs, at shanscom@victoriamansion.org. We hope to connect with you soon! (fb)

Yesterday, Victoria Mansion staff visited Boston's Old North Church to see the work being done by Gianfranco Pocobene Studio to restore murals that had been painted over in the early twentieth century. They will be finishing the project soon so that everything will be ready for the upcoming 250th anniversary of Paul Revere's ride, which started with a lantern signal from the church tower. The Studio has also done many projects around the Mansion. They are currently cleaning and restoring the painted walls of the Stair Hall. We appreciate their invitation to see this other exciting project of theirs as well! You can find more information about preservation at Old North Church on their website: https://www.oldnorth.com/preservation/#mural 📷1.
