About Independent School Alliance In March 1985 in donated space on the Windward School campus the Independent School Alliance was founded with 18 original member schools lead by founding Executive Director Manasa Tangalin. Working in partnership with families and schools the Independent School Alliance helps our students access an independent school education andsupports and guides the family after a student is enrolled in a school.
