Founded in 1968 as the Lakeside Heritage Club LHS operates the Heritage Hall Museum and Archives and provides various educational programs to the surrounding community. MissionTo preserve promote and advancethe history of Lakeside the Marblehead Peninsula and the Chautauqua Movementin America and to be a public resource for that history Where is LakesideOhio. Lakeside Chautauquais located on the Marblehead Peninsula about 50 miles east of Toledo 80 miles west of downtown Cleveland and 120 miles north of Columbus on beautiful Lake Erie.
