For @_fabnyc’s Lower East History Month, we sent our Development Associate Blair Johnston (@blairajohnson), on a quest to uncover some of downtown New York’s history of art and technology. Specifically Blair was interested in delving into the archive of experimental broadcast during the 1970s and 80s. During her research journey, Blair ventured to NYU Special Collections Reading Room, where she watched the digitized tapes of Pat Ivers and Emily Armstrong, known best for their tv broadcast Nightclubbing.
