Metropolitan Family Service Moving Lives Forward Metropolitan Family Service helps people move beyond the limitations of poverty inequity and social isolation. We help people gain prosperity promote equity and we build a connected community for all ages. We are MFS Since 1950 our nonprofit has grown from family counseling in the early days to a broad based multiservice organization within our culturally diverse intergenerational community today. We embrace innovation to create sustainable solutions that address disparities promote equity and demonstrate respect for all individuals.
