You're Just My Type Where Type 1 Diabetes Meets Mental Health What We Do Youre Just My Type is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the mental health of people living with Type 1 diabetes. Through inperson events resources and communitybuilding we create spaces where individuals can connect share experiences and find support. Our events provide a welcoming environment to navigate the emotional challenges of Type 1 diabetes while fostering meaningful relationships. We also offer virtual opportunities to stay connected beyond our gatherings.

At our NYC event, we had an amazing group of college-aged attendees from @thediabeteslink join us. We gave them a space to ask questions about what’s up ahead. Things like dating with diabetes, starting a new job, managing on their own for the first time, or figuring out how to talk about diabetes in everyday life.
