Liberty Museum and Arts Center

The hotel featured 30 rooms with baths, steam heat, and amenities such as a first-class café and a bowling alley. After the hotel closed in 1936, the property was repurposed and at one time operated as a hardware store and later as a bakery, before becoming the museum.

The museum frequently uses its large front exhibition space for concerts, lectures, conferences, and social events. A notable tradition held by the museum is the ceremonial lowering of the Liberty Bell replica from the roof of the building at midnight on New Year's Eve. The museum operates largely through the support of its members and fundraising activities, supplemented by occasional state and county grants.
