Welcome sweet baby guinea keets! We’ve never taken in guineas, but while swinging in to grab timothy pellets, a farm store employee recognized Audrey from Mockingbird. She asked if Audrey could help a keet who couldn’t walk from splayed leg. Well, Audrey didn’t hesitate. There are always babies who are unwell in the back of farm stores during chick days😔. He was in rough shape, falling on his back and didn’t know how to eat or drink. The little baby was handed to Audrey and she immediately named the tiny precious being, Lenny (even though we won’t know the sex for a while). In effort to help Lenny thrive, another keet was surrendered. Two babies who found sanctuary life- never to be eaten. After a few days with splints, Lenny is almost walking normally! And the two are extremely bonded. Now, we need a name for Lenny’s friend! Please drop your name ideas below.💕 (fb)
