✨ Congratulations to Javeria Jamil on her promotion to Deputy Director of CAIR-Georgia! ✨ With a career rooted in the fight for immigrant and civil rights—especially for Arab, Middle Eastern, Muslim, and South Asian (AMEMSA) communities—Javeria has been a tireless advocate for justice and equity. Before joining CAIR-Georgia, Javeria served as a staff attorney with the National Security and Civil Rights program at Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus, where she defended AMEMSA communities from discriminatory national security policies. Javeria joined CAIR-Georgia in 2021, and has served as the Legal Director for the past 4 years.
