⚾ GET READY TO PLAY BALL! ⚾ Yesterday afternoon we were so excited to attend the dedication ceremony for the new Monroe Coleman Field at Bowling Green Park! After tremendous success with youth baseball programming at the Kerrie Orozco Field, the Black Police Officers Association (BPOA) is thrilled to open this new field for older youth to play ball. This Monday, Omaha’s Memorial Park was host to the annual Memorial Day Ceremony put on by Patriotic Productions. The event featured: 🥞 Pancakes served by Anchor Corps volunteers 🪂 Skydivers from UNL 📖 Historical Reenactments & Ceremony 🙏 The National Remembering Our Fallen Tribute Towers representing America’s post-9/11 military Fallen 🇺🇸 Flanders Field of Flags representing all of America’s Fallen On Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom.
