In This Section Home Welcome Introduction Bridge Preparatory Charter School is a Staten Island public charter school specifically designed to meet the needs of students struggling with literacy specifically those students with dyslexia or other language based learning needs. At Bridge Prep we ensure that our students gain the skills and confidence to meet their full academic potential and our innovative and rigorous studentcentered environment develops our students to be confident creative lifelong learners. We are New York State39s first and only public school specifically designed to meet the needs of students with dyslexia and other languagebased learning difficulties. We teach the way children learn.
