Home - Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley The Power of Community Connecting People Who Care with Causes that Count The Community Foundation collaborates with generous individuals and organizations to bring opportunity equity and success to the people of the Mahoning Valley. Since 2000 we have facilitated more than 250 charitable funds that have deeply impacted our community delivering more than 60 million to hundreds of important causes. Our most pressing initiatives include Emergency Response Fund Provides crucial support to residents most deeply affected by widespread emergencies and crises was an integral resource during the early stages of the COVID19 pandemic. Racial Equity Supports targeted grant investments staff training community education and endowment funds specifically dedicated to fostering a community where race no longer determines ones wellbeing.
