Sibling Strong Our Mission The mission of Sibling Strong is to reunite brothers and sisters with Washington ties who are separated because of foster care kinship care and through adoption for summer camp and day events that reinforce sibling connection encourage social development restore hope and reduce feelings of isolation. Brothers and sisters typically experience the longest and some of the strongest life relationships. Being separated increases the trauma of being associated with foster care. Visits between siblings help to encourage healing promote growth and restore a sense of normalcy.
