This August, we’re celebrating the volunteers of Austin Pride as our Hometown Heroes, the committed individuals behind Austin’s Pride celebrations and community events. Formed in 2010, The Austin Pride Foundation (TAPF) is a 100% volunteer-run organization, which means every parade, festival, and event is powered by people who dedicate their time, creativity, and energy to uplifting the LGBTQ+ community. From planning Austin’s iconic Pride Festival and Parade to organizing inclusive gatherings throughout the year, these volunteers help create spaces where love, identity, and belonging thrive.
