The Silver Lake Estates Board of Trustees administers the property for the benefit of SLE property owners and their guests. The trustees, along with advisors, serve on a volunteer basis, ensuring that the lake and park are maintained and operational for various seasonal activities. These activities include swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, sailing, and winter sports such as ice skating and cross-country skiing. The property also features a boathouse, children's playground, rowboats, paddleboats, and a fishing dock.

Annual Assessments

Annual assessments are collected from SLE lot owners to fund the operations and activities at Silver Lake and its adjacent park. These assessments are calculated based on a land valuation formula as required by the trust.

Community Events

The Silver Lake Park is the site of the annual Silver Lake Festival, organized by the Silver Lake Garden Club and held on the third Saturday of July. This event is a village-wide celebration, promoting community cohesion and engagement.
