Not every story looks the same. ➡️ Some women enter the s*x industry to survive @buse. ➡️ Some because they were pressured by a partner. ➡️ Others because they needed money for medicine, rent, or groceries. ➡️ And for some, it started with one night that turned into many more. There’s no single path that leads someone into the s*x industry. But after nearly two decades of walking alongside women in the industry and survivors of expl0itation, we’ve seen one common thread: vulnerability and environmental factors. When you peel back the layers, you often find: 😔 Histories of s@xual @buse 💵 P0verty or financial insecurity 🏚️ A lack of safety, belonging, or options 💔 A culture that glamorizes s@xual expl0itation while ignoring the pain it leaves behind. Research shows that 89% of women in the s*x industry want to leave but see no other means for survival. In other words, they don’t see other options. ❓ So, the question here is... What is “choice” without options? We share this because we hope it helps humanize the women in these circumstances.
