🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 The Neighborhood Center of West Volusia is honored to be selected for a Spectrum Employee Community Grant! 🎉 We’ve received $5,000 to support our Nourishing Neighbors program, which will help us provide 20,000 healthy meals to individuals and families in need right here in our community. Food insecurity is rising, and this support comes at a critical time. This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we enjoy the freedoms we have today, and we are forever grateful. At the Bridge Shelter, we marked the day by creating a space for reflection, connection, and celebration. Hosting a Memorial Day BBQ is one way we ensure that those experiencing homelessness still have the opportunity to recognize important moments, feel a sense of belonging, and share in the traditions that bring us together.
