Members of the BCU team were in Houston, Texas this week attending the XPONENTIAL Show to showcase MICH-AIR, an Advanced Air Mobility Park being created at the Battle Creek Executive Airport (BTL). MICH-AIR is being positioned to served multiple functions, including manufacturing large drones, serving as a center for large drone operations (such as freight delivery, surveillance, or firefighting), drone maintenance and repair, a location for training drone pilots, and serving as a terminal for urban air mobility. The team was able to also check out several new technologies and initiatives in drone tech, autonomous technologies and robotics. XPONENTIAL is an annual gathering of global leaders and professionals from the uncrewed systems and robotics industries. Next year, the show will be heading to the Motor City!
