To provide library and education services to the Cragsmoor and surrounding communities. The Cragsmoor Free Library is the key educational, cultural, and social center for the Cragsmoor community. In addition to customary library services, the Library offers approximately 40 public programs each year. Not only does the Library serve the hamlet of Cragsmoor, but its programs and events also draw patrons and visitors from surrounding communities. The Library owns a nature preserve that is open to the public.
