Home - Achieve of Central Virginia Achieve of Central Virginia We help adults with disabilities achieve greater independence to learn grow and work. Achieve of Central Virginia Formerly Lynchburg Sheltered Industries In 1963 a group of parents got together with one goal in mind to give their adult children a safe place to work and participate in the local community. The first group of its kind in this area the parents approached the local Junior League chapter for support in finding an appropriate place to meet and launch a church Lynchburg Sheltered Industries was officially born. Since that time we have seen a lot of regulation changes as well as changes within the communities we serve.
