AFC would be nothing without its amazing volunteers! Our staff who work alongside them have a unique perspective on how their service impacts the Clinic and our patients. Each month we highlight a volunteer nominated by one of our staff to honor their hard work. For the month of May, Andera Bedregal, Nurse Manager, has nominated Dr. Rupali Singh, Volunteer Gynecology Provider. Since joining us in 2022, Dr. Singh has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure every patient feels heard, valued, and cared for. She leads with empathy, always taking the time to explain treatment options, offer guidance, and provide comfort during difficult moments. This was highlighted in a recent visit when a patient expressed anxiety about the health and safety of her and her family. Dr. Singh not only addressed her medical concerns but also took the time to listen to her fears, providing reassurance, support, and additional resources. Andrea nominated Dr. Singh for always being ready to lend a helping hand to staff and volunteers, answering questions, and supporting the team with her warm and collaborative spirit.
