We just received our copy of Alison Bechdel’s latest book, Spent: a Comic Novel, at the Schulz Library! @alisonbechdel is a longtime friend of CCS, former thesis advisor, Eisner lecturer, commencement speaker, VT Cartoonist Laureate, and most importantly a fellow Vermonter! Spent is her first foray into autofiction - blending elements of memoir, satire, and appearances from former cast members from her acclaimed comics strip, D*kes to Watch Out For. If you haven’t gotten your hands on a copy yet, Alison is on tour! And if you’re in the Upper Valley mark your calendars for June 2nd at 7PM for a book event at the Norwich Congregational Church hosted by @norwichbookstore . We can’t wait! 2025 Thesis Exhibit An exhibit featuring work by the graduating class is currently on display at the CCS Gallery. Exhibit hours are Monday through Friday, 12 noon to 4 pm. The Thesis Exhibition will be on display and open to the public until June 9. The CCS Gallery is located at 94 South Main Street, in downtown White River Junction, in the Colodny building.
