Last week, over 400 people came together to support the Jewish legal community at our 24th Annual Cardozo Dinner. We honored 2025 Sidney Barrows Lifetime Commitment Award Recipients Justin Perl and Jim Stein, and 2025 Arthur T. Pfefer Memorial Award Recipient Jake Levine. The Minneapolis Jewish Federation provided funding to the Peres Academic Center, enabling the establishment of the Strength in the Academy program. This initiative supports students who have served in combat or been called up for reserve duty due to the war following October 7th. Recognizing the unique challenges these students face, the program offers not only academic assistance but also comprehensive support to help them successfully complete their degrees. (fb)
