ALBAs mission is to create economic opportunity for aspiring organic farmers through landbased education in the heart of the Salinas Valley. CBS did a beautiful story on Espiri Santos journey from farmworker to farm owner. Espiris story exemplifies ALBAs mission to create economic opportunity for limitedresource farmers the majority of whom are Mexican immigrant farmworkers. On our 100acre farm in the heart of the Salinas Valley ALBA provides education onfarm training and subsidized access to land and farm equipment to aspiring farmers over 5 years enabling them to achieve the dream of organic farm ownership.
