Jack was born and raised in San Diego. He graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Broadcast Journalism and received a MA in Specialized Journalism from the University of Southern California. Since graduating, Jack has worked a variety of different freelance roles, producing marketing materials for companies focused on helping the environment. He has even spent some time working as a kayak tour guide in La Jolla Shores. In his free time, Jack loves surfing, biking, and making short nature-related videos.
