FOUNDED IN 1909, THE GOLDEN'S BRIDGE FIRE DEPARTMENT IS ONE OF THREE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTS IN THE TOWN OF LEWISBORO LOCATED APPROX. 40 MILES NORTH OF NEW YORK CITY IN WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK. WE ARE AN ORGANIZATION OF ABOUT 70 MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVE THE COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING FIRE, RESCUE, DISASTER RELIEF AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES TO ANYONE IN NEED. WE ARE ALSO DEDICATED TO IMPROVING LIFE IN THE COMMUNITY BY OFFERING SCHOLARSHIPS FOR COMMUNITY MINDED YOUTH, SUPPORTING SCOUTING ORGANIZATIONS OF AMERICA AND SUPPORTING OTHER LOCAL CHARITIES.

Goldens Bridge Fire Department - Westchester County, New York 2024 was one of the busiest years on record for the GBFD as we responded to a total of 364 alarms. Heres a breakdown of our service 135 Fire Alarms 155 EMS Calls 36 Motor Vehicle Accidents 26 Mutual Aid Responses 12 Misc. Service Alarms. Our members worked tirelessly to stay prepared and sharp completing 56 drills throughout the year and earning state and national certifications across .
