This week Congress released more details on Medicaid cuts that include work requirements, cost sharing for beneficiaries, reductions in federal matching funds to states that cover undocumented immigrants with state-only funds, and more. These harmful cuts will take healthcare away from millions of people, including those with serious mental health or substance use conditions. Congress must hear us loud and clear 🗣️ Hands Off Medicaid.
