Our mission is to support and strengthen urban American Indian people through culturallybased education traditional healing approaches and leadership development. We achieve this by focusing on community and delivering programs and services directly or in partnership with other organizations. Our vision is American Indian communities that build upon inherent strengths and create safe healthy and nurturing environments in which everyone thrives.

DIW is the August 2025 Round Up recipient at all three Lakewinds Food Co-op Lakewinds Food Co-op stores in the Twin Cities. Round up today for DIW. The Community Giving Round Up program allows shoppers in all three Lakewinds Food Co-op stores in Chanhassen, Minnetonka and Richfield to round up their receipt totals to support DIW.
