Project Feast - Seattle-area nonprofit empowering refugee and immigrant cooks Project Feast empowers refugee and immigrant cooks At Project Feast we cultivate a nurturing space for refugees and immigrants while providing culinary training that equips them for careers or entrepreneurship in the food industry. We empower our students to share their diverse stories and cuisine fostering intercultural exchange that enriches and unites our community. Our Vision Philosophy Training The Culinary Skills Apprentice Program combines classroom kitchen and ESL lessons to prepare English Language Learners for a good job in a food business or to start their own food business. Community Meals Since the start of the COVID19 pandemic in late March 2020 Project Feast pivoted our services to providing food assistance to immigrant and refugee families and seniors.

Project Feast

Want to practice your English, talk about food, and meet people from diverse cultures. Join us at Project Feast on Tuesdays from 1:30-3:30pm for our first 8-week “Culinary Conversations” series where we will facilitate English conversation practice by sharing our love of food and culture. These will be informal meetups, no registration is necessary, and you can come and go as you please.
