These efforts embedded in local leadership strive to address root causes of poverty and injustice and depend on individual donations and volunteer energy to grow. What we39ve achieved 150 children participating daily in improved education and nutrition programs 70 women learning about gender violence and actively working for change 20 tons of greenhouse gases decreased through installation of efficient cook stoves VOLUNTEER Volunteer to learn give create and be part of a caring community. INTERN Interns apply skills and energy to real world challenges in Nicaragua or in New Haven.
