Coco (nicknamed Bebe by her foster mom) is an adorably tiny (3.5 pounds!) anxious girl who loves to cuddle and play with her human. Her confidence continues to grow every day thanks to her loving and patient foster momma who has worked with her on her confidence. She would do best in a home that is patient with her anxious nature, with a low level of surprises during her day. She loves her foster brothers and other dogs, but would likely also thrive as an only child as she really just wants to be besties with her human. Due to her nervous nature we believe she would not do well in a home with unpredictable or wobbly (toddlerish) children. We think she would do ok with cats that aren't into harassing dogs. She has not met kids or cats, but her foster mom does know her well enough to speculate. Coco is potty pad trained and will potty outside, but does not alert, so would need a set schedule to adhere to while she learns the ropes in her new home. She sleeps with her human at night (that is what she seems to prefer), although she has been working on her crate training as well. She will bark when left alone for the first few minutes, but will settle. She is good with new people and dogs when being introduced slowly so she can check you out and see that there is no danger. Her foster mom has all the details for successful introductions. She basically isn't interested in the "in your face" introductions.. but really are you? I am not! Coco is a cutie, and does dance for food and attention. If dancing doesn't work, she will move on to singing. We believe she is a Papillion long haired chihuahua mix, but you never know. Whatever she is, she is cute.
