Last week, four BTBYS board members (and LEO spouses) attended a free session with Dr Kevin Gilmartin, author of Emotional Survival for Law Enforcement. He was amazing! His fantastic speaking skills used storytelling, data, and knowledge that was easy to understand, warmed your heart at times, and gave many that “ah ha!” moment. We truly left thinking so many lives could be full of more joy, marriages could be saved and nourished.. in just 1 day of hearing him first responder lives can be changed.💙💙 Would you go to see him? Recently, some of our board members had the profound honor of being a part of Marysville High School’s Every 15 Minutes program — a powerful reenactment that brings to life the devastating consequences of drinking and driving. This program is more than just a dramatization. It’s a wake-up call. It’s about showing students, families, and our community what’s truly at stake when someone makes the choice to drive under the influence. The emotional impact is real — and so are the lives that could be saved through awareness and prevention. We’re incredibly proud to stand beside our local first responders, educators, and students in supporting this life-saving initiative.
