Nuestras Causas Para lograr grandes cambios nos enfocamos en tres areas Investigacion Aplicada Generar informacion cientifica que avance el nivel de conocimiento actual de los tiburones y las rayas y permita incidir la toma de decisiones a diferentes niveles en todos los sectores fortaleciendo las acciones de conservacion y manejo a mediano y largo plazo. Educacion Ambiental y Liderazgo Contribuir a la construccion de sociedades ambiental y socialmente responsables a traves de la educacion y el liderazgo promoviendo la conservacion y el uso sostenible de los recursos marinocosteros a largo plazo especialmente de los tiburones y las rayas y los ecosistemas de los cuales dependen en Guatemala la region del Sistema Arrecifal Mesoamericano y el Pacifico Este. Sostenibilidad Ambiental Promover la conservacion de los tiburones y las rayas a largo plazo a traves de la adopcion de mejores practicas de sustentabilidad en los diferentes sectores de la sociedad que fomenten la prosperidad ambiental social y economica de la region Mesoamericana.
