Some of the most difficult animals to place in foster are usually the ones that need it most. Dogs who aren't the biggest fans of other dogs don't have a great time living in shelter surrounded by the very thing they're intensely terrified of, other dogs who are also stressed. A kind, compassionate home, even if you work 8 hours a day, saves lives. If you have no other animals in the home (tank animals don't count), consider becoming a WCHS foster to give these dogs a chance to truly relax and feel safe in their environment.
