What a joy to celebrate our madres at the 39th Annual Día De Las Madres celebration at the De Colores domestic violence shelter 💐 A mother’s love isn’t measured in words—it’s in every early morning, every sacrifice, every lesson she lived without asking for recognition. And while every mom carries so much, the mothers at the CPLC De Colores domestic violence shelter have gone to the furthest lengths to protect their children. This Día De Las Madres, they chatted over a cafecito, made flower crowns, and enjoyed tacos and live music among their community. Taking a moment to enjoy this day together was another small step on their path of healing. Today, and every day, we honor you con todo el corazón ❤️ ¡Qué alegría celebrar a nuestras madres en la reunión anual 39 del Día de la madre en el Refugio De Colores para sobrevivientes de la violencia doméstica! 💐 El amor de una madre no se mide con palabras—se siente con cada madrugada, cada sacrificio, cada lección vivida sin buscar el reconocimiento. Y aunque toda madre carga con demasiado, las madres en el Refugio De Colores de CPLC para sobrevivientes de violencia doméstica han llegado hasta las últimas consecuencias para proteger a sus hijos. Este Día de las madres, charlaron con un cafecito, hicieron coronas de flores, y disfrutaron de tacos y música en vivo con su comunidad.
