Home - Hook's Historical Drugstore Museum Welcome to Hooks HistoricalDrugstore Museum Explore our Collection Step into the Museum and be immersed in the sights smells and sounds of a fully furnished 1890s era Indiana Drugstore. Faithfully recreated from an outstanding collection of authentic pharmacy antiques including some of the most beautiful preCivil War cabinets anywhere in the US. Drugstores of the late 19th Century were places of community commerce and hoped for healing. Dramatic progress in medicinal science over the last 150 years was paralleled by the rise of patent medicines and their outrageous claims to provide cheap easy cures.
