About the organization

The Peace Community Center Board of Directors made the difficult decision to pause all education programming starting in September 2023. During the last year the Board was able to regain financial sustainability fiscal clarity and began to build a healthier partnership between The Center and Peace Lutheran Church congregation and staff our foundational partner in service to the Hilltop community. We have now begun the process of strategic planning in August of 2024 with a focus on engaging and listening to the community. In addition to the Board an advisory group of Peace Lutheran and Hilltop community members has been recruited to support and lead the strategic planning process under the guidance of consultant Tali Hairston and his team at Equitable Development LLC.
