Fighting for Texas Workers We are the state labor federation for Texas representing 240000 affiliated union members who want a fair shot for all working people union and nonunion alike. We are teachers firefighters and farm workers actors and engineers pilots and public employees painters and plumbers steelworkers and screenwriters doctors and nurses stagehands electricians and more. We work the early shift and the late shift. We are the unemployed students and retirees.
