Congress created the 340B program over 30 years ago to help lowincome and other vulnerable patients access more affordable medicines. Today Community Health Centers rely on the program to serve their communities. The 340B program should enable true safetynet providers to help lowincome and other vulnerable patients access more affordable medicines and health care services.
