Home Page - International Board for Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery International Board for Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Our Mission The International Board for Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery formerly known as the program for Unified International Certification in Facial Plastic SurgeryUIC in FPS sponsored by the International Federation for Facial Plastic Surgery SocietiesIFFPSS was established in 2012. Its mission is to improve the quality of facial plastic surgery available to the international community by measuring the qualifications of candidate surgeons against proven rigorous standards. Among the core endeavors of the IBCFPRS is the administration of the International Board exam in facial plastic surgery. This is performed in collaboration with the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
