Main menu NEW RIVER VALLEY OFFICE Welcome to the New River Valley Office of United Way of Southwest Virginia In 2023 United Way of Montgomery Radford and Floyd doing business as United Way New River Valley UWNRV joined forces with United Way of Southwest Virginia UWSWVA in a strategic reorganization. This partnership brought additional capacity to the NRV region enabling us to enhance our efforts in supporting the wellbeing of children and families.

This past Memorial Day, our Disaster Recovery Specialist, Andy, and a dedicated crew of volunteers spent their day helping a family still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Helene. Their hard work is a powerful reminder that recovery doesn’t stop after the storm. United Way of Southwest Virginia is committed to standing with our community—and we’re not finished yet.
