Meet Kristoff and Olaf, our animal ambassador spotlights! These little guys play a very important role in spreading the message of conservation into our community. Chinchillas are considered "Endangered' by the IUCN Red List. That is why the Akron Zoo participates in the AZA SAFE: Chinchilla program which works with and supports the Chilean government's recovery and conservation plans for short-tailed and long-tailed chinchillas.
