Public land must serve public good so we organize for development that preserves diversity and creates opportunity for local workers. Good Jobs EBASE is changing the expectation of work by creating an economy where everyones contributions are valued. Our campaigns for living wages fair scheduling and paid sick days are raising the floor on lowwage work.

The Oakland Coliseum is a place where tradition, pride for our city, and a true sense of community have been fostered for decades. Now, we have the opportunity to shape the Coliseum’s future. Oakland United, a long-standing coalition of Oakland residents, workers, labor unions, community organizations, youth & faith groups, will negotiate with the prospective owner of the Coliseum, the African American Sports & Entertainment Group (AASEG), to create a comprehensive Community Benefits Agreement for the development.
