We Can Ride We Can Ride is a 501c3 nonprofit volunteerbased organization whose mission is to connect horses and humans to transform the lives of people with disabilities and meet the evolving needs of our growing community. We Can Ride is a Premier Accredited Equine Assisted Activities and Therapy Center with PATH International Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International. We Can Ride operates with the talents of a volunteer Board of Directors expert staff credentialed physical and occupational therapists PATHcertified instructors dedicated volunteers specially trained horses and ponies. Sophie is 23 and she has been riding with We Can Ride 20 years I had learned about therapeutic horseback riding and the gait pattern is very similar to a person we needed to give her that movement and motion to help her start to walk which she did.

First as wild creatures admired from afar, then as partners in travel, farming, and battle, horses carried us across continents and into new eras of history.
