We are excited to once again welcome students from Western Michigan University's Bronson School of Nursing. They will be joining our Health Literacy program for the next few weeks to gain experience with the community, first through observation, then with hands-on teaching.

Congratulations to Antonia Avila, the recipient of the Mard Little Award for Adult Learner Excellence. Mard Little was a KLC learner who overcame great obstacles during her literacy journey, to ultimately achieve her goal of publishing her memoir. This award, established in her honor, recognizes determination, hard work, and a passion for learning.
